ABOUT US

Hi, I'm Abby Ferrer, chef and owner of Barkada Kitchen. I have spent the past 18 years working and leading teams in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Boston and Miami.  In 2013 I settled in Maui working at Morimoto, Tommy Bahama and most recently as Executive Chef at Star Noodle.

I opened Barkada Kitchen in 2021 offering personal chef services on Maui and beyond. While supporting local artisans, farmers and purveyors, my goal is to create a fun, unique dining experience so that you can enjoy your event without worry.  I love bringing people together through delicious food, creating good times and lasting memories. My cooking style is reflective of my Filipino heritage, diverse restaurant experience and my love of travel and exploration. In 2023 I relocated to Phoenix, AZ and hope to provide the same hospitality and aloha.
